A global project initiated by the week magazine Monday Morning and supported by politicians such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Connie Hedegaard and a series of world leading companies within the energy sector. Sustainia is a project seeking to present a realistic scenario of how society in 2020 could be completely independent of fossil fuels solely by utilizing the best renewable energy technologies known today. The solutions range from zero energy houses and air quality monitoring technology to urban farming methods. Only the 100 best solutions will be included in the project and promoted at the energy summit Rio +20 in 2012.
