MOSAIC

MOSAIC is a project funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program and is coordinated by TEKNIKER.

It aims at designing, manufacturing and validating a new and innovative CSP concept with low implementation costs at the highest plant efficiencies reducing the levelized cost of electricity (LCOE). To learn more, please visit the MOSAIC website.

Aalborg CSP’s scope

Aalborg CSP’s scope in the project includes design, construction/acquisition, testing, transportation, installation, and commissioning of the Heat Transfer Fluid (HTF) loop and the innovative central solar receiver as well as the automatic receiver heating system and interfaces including flexible hoses and pulling cables. Moreover, Aalborg CSP has provided support in defining the control and operation strategies.
