Peter joined Aalborg CSP in 2007 as part of the founding team and has since contributed to the development of innovative thermal solar plants, which collectively produce more than 1,700 MWh. These include key components for CSP power plant technologies, industrial solar energy solutions, demonstration plants, which are the first of their kind in the world, as well as several test facilities and much more.

Peter holds a degree in Marine Engineering from the Aalborg School of Marine Engineering and holds nearly 40 years of energy systems experience, initially within the oil, gas, and marine sectors, and later within the renewable energy sector. With his both practical and technical background and commercial mindset, he can easily assess a project's feasibility and develop optimized energy systems based on the project's individual geographical location and the associated energy requirements.

Through his active involvement in both the management and the Board at Aalborg CSP, Peter has in the past decades established important business connections, paving the way for new projects, which is why he became the natural choice for the position of CEO in the autumn of 2025.
