On 1 June Svante Bundgaard took over the position as CEO at Aalborg CSP A/S. The previous CEO, Per Jørn Nielsen, has resigned after holding the post for 25 years.

Since the company was established, Aalborg CSP has been managed by Per Jørn Nielsen, who is also a partner in the company. In 2010, the company won the title as "Årets Ejerleder" (Denmark's top owner-managed company). Per Jørn has just celebrated his 25th  anniversary in the company, and in that connection, he decided to resign from his position as CEO. Per Jørn Nielsen has led the company's development from being a small consulting engineering company to now being a world leader within design and delivery of steam generator systems for concentrated solar power (CSP) plants. Per Jørn Nielsen is not leaving the company entirely as he will continue the engineering work primarily in connection with R&D and sales.

Aalborg CSP's new CEO, Svante Bundgaard, comes from a managing position at Siemens Wind Power. He has lots of experience within the renewable energy industry and he is looking forward to changing focus from wind to solar power. Svante Bundgaard is taking over a healthy company with a large growth potential, and his goal is to double the company's turnover in the coming years. "Per Jørn and the rest of the team at Aalborg CSP have done a remarkable job bringing the company to this stage. Now I'm looking forward to starting work and bringing further success to the company in the coming years", says the new CEO.
