Aalborg CSP is among those 140 industry and academia experts that have been invited to speak at the 4th International Conference on Smart Energy Systems and 4th Generation District Heating held in Aalborg (Denmark), on 13-14 November 2018.

The conference is organized by the 4DH Research Centre, a unique collaboration between industry, universities and the public sector to investigate the potential and to develop 4th Generation District Heating. More than 140 speakers from 21 different countries will gather to share knowledge on 4GDH systems and technologies that will play a big part in future cost-effective sustainable energy systems.

With a presentation titled “Energy Hybrid Solution based on the Integration of Concentrated Solar Power (CSP)” Aalborg CSP will provide an insight into the energy system of the future and demonstrate how the CSP technology can be integrated with other renewable resources to create an innovative hybrid energy system. As part of the presentation, Aalborg CSP will introduce a globally unique concentrated solar power plant capable of producing combined heat and power in the northern part of Denmark. The system in Brønderslev is the first in the world to demonstrate how CSP with an integrated energy system design can optimize efficiency of ORC (organic rankine cycle). Based on this solution, Aalborg CSP will present a further optimized solution suggesting what an energy system of the future may look like.
