Sharing the conference agenda with global experts from the Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) industry, Mrs. Jiehua Mao will showcase how to increase plant efficiency and reduce Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) with optimized Molten Salt (MS) receivers and steam generators.
As part of her speech Mrs. Mao will present Aalborg CSP’s involvement in the PHOTON project – a project within the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Framework Program for Research and Innovation. The PHOTON project aims to obtain a new and competitive thermosolar power plant configuration through the development of a new generation of solar technologies.
Aalborg CSP’s scope in the project concerns the development, design and optimization of an asymmetric MS solar tower receiver in synergy with PV-Hybrid Autonomous Heliostats.
Besides showcasing the current findings of the PHOTON project, Mrs. Mao will also update the audience on the Dubai 700MW CSP + 250MW PV Hybrid project.
About the speaker
Mrs. Jiehua Mao is Product Manager at Aalborg CSP. She joined Aalborg CSP in 2017 and has since then been our strong link to the Chinese market, where Aalborg CSP plays an active role in fostering the country’s transition towards a greener economy.
With a strong thermal engineering background, Mrs. Mao knows exactly that a boiler design perfectly tailored to project requirements enhances technical, financial and environmental benefits. Her deep knowledge of boiler technologies and systems is of great value, when it comes to developing new projects in collaboration with clients and ensuring that the customer’s energy needs are met.
Besides her extensive experience with boiler technologies, Mrs. Mao has a broad knowledge of district heating planning and energy saving projects.
