As urban populations grow, particularly in warmer climates, cities are turning to district cooling infrastructure to conserve resources, reduce energy waste and deliver critical services to rapidly-growing dense urban centers. The District Cooling 2018 conference brings together experienced district energy professionals from around the world to exchange ideas and share best practices and innovative approaches, strategies and solutions.

Aalborg CSP’s Senior Sales and R&D Engineer, Mr. Hammam Soliman will showcase how CSP could be a viable solution for District Cooling in the UAE, as part of the session “Scandinavian Energy Efficiency Technologies and Best Practices in Advanced District Cooling”. As part of his speech, Mr. Soliman will share best practices from Aalborg CSP’s global project portfolio as well as present how the company’s technologies can make a difference in District Cooling in the Middle East.

About the speaker
Mr. Hammam Soliman is Senior Sales and R&D Engineer at Aalborg CSP, responsible for the planning and implementation of research programs with the aim to create the technologies of tomorrow. He is Aalborg CSP’s strong link to knowledge-based institutions and plays an instrumental role in establishing relationships with the Middle East and North Africa region.
Hammam holds an M.S. degree in Electrical and Control from the Arab Academy for Science & Technology in Cairo (Egypt) and earnt his Ph.D in Power Electronic Engineering from the highly ranked Aalborg Universitet (Denmark).
