Niels Risgaard Hansen brings ten years of solid experience in project management, contract management, structural design, and steel construction to Aalborg CSP’s Solar Thermal Plants Business Unit that develops, constructs and installs low and mid-temperature solar energy projects in Denmark and abroad.
As a new Project Engineering Manager, Niels is responsible for the update and development of new project structures and the associated tools enabling project execution excellence from the earlies stages of project lifecycles. As part of this, Niels will also be in charge of risk assessment, contract management and other legal matters for all projects within the company.
Prior to joining Aalborg CSP, Niels engaged in several energy projects across the world as a consultant, engineer and project manager at companies like Rambøll, DS Stålkonstruktion and Bladt Industries where he held his last position as Contract Manager.

Niels holds a master’s degree in engineering from Aalborg University (2007) and a professional project management (PPM) certificate that he acquired in 2014. He is an experienced user of different CAD and Structure Analysis Software and has a desire to familiarize himself with other IT programs.
