Aalborg CSP will be attending the “Seminar on growth in the district heating sector” (Temadag om vækst i fjernvarmesektoren) event held in Kolding (Denmark) on 7 February 2017.
The topic of the conference is centred on newly established development and demonstration projects aiming to boost growth within the Danish district heating sector. On this occasion, Aalborg CSP will present three competitive solar district heating plants that have recently been built in Denmark:
- Denmark’s most advanced solar district heating system: the system in Tårs (Denmark) combines flat solar panels with the concentrated solar power (CSP) technology for the most efficient harvest of the sun. This perfect match of two solar-thermal technologies covers 30% of the district heating plants’ overall energy demand without the use of seasonal storage.
- CSP combined with a biomass-ORC system: a globally-unique CSP system integrated with a biomass-ORC plant for combined heat and power generation will also be presented. Construction of the 26.929 m2 system has just been finalized in Brønderslev, Denmark.
- A competitive solar plant consisting of flat panels: a 2,569m2 flat panel system along with a 1,250m3 heat storage accumulation tank have recently been installed in the southern part of Denmark. The plant in Havdrup consists of one the market’s most competitive flat solar-thermal collectors and it will provide 350 households with sustainable heating.
All visitors are invited to stop by our exhibition stand to join our dialogue on lowering the energy costs for district heating plants.
